More About Me

Some would consider me a fictitious person, and perhaps in some ways I am.  I am actually the avatar used by my Real Life self in the metaverse called Second Life.  I am however very real and a direct reflection of my RL self in every way.  Well, I am younger and I hope better looking than in RL, but hey aren't we all.  I also have an assumed name in what is perhaps a vain attempt to protect the innocent, but don't we all.

So from here on out everything will be written from my perspective with the metaverse, although I am sure there will be some RL bleed through from time to time.

I was somewhat reluctant to come to SL at first and was every bit the typical noob when I first started.  Don't laugh, you were too once upon a time.  I will go into more details in a post dedicated to my SL life, but for now just know that I made all he rookie mistakes, and perhaps still do from time to time I am sure.

So this whole virtual metaverse thing is new to me, as is my entry into a formal D/s relationship with my wife, both in SL as well as RL.  If that is not your cup of tea then I apologize in advance since that subject will show up in here a number of times I am very sure.  I don't judge you by how you may, or may not, live your life so please don't judge me.  Simply read what you want and don't read topics that bother you.

I am a keen observer and quick learner, as well as very picky I am told *grin*.  I am also very curious, like to learn new things, and most of all I do enjoy a challenge.  These traits all combine to make me someone that does a lot of different things and strives for perfection wherever I can.

So what do I do?

- I build both in prims and mesh (I strive for low land impact but good detail)
- I write, and hack, scripts
- I create animations (or at least am trying to learn)
- I spend money (although my partner spends more ...)
- I would like to sell some of my builds (once I get them perfected)
- I explore
- I dance and socialize
- I play
- I learn
- I make typos (fingers suffer packet loss from the brain at times and lose sync)

... heck it seems I do a lot of things to some degree or another so expect to see a number of different topics covered.
